We offer an individualized, hands-on approach to learning.

- This is a September through May program designed for children 3 to 5 years old who are 100% potty trained.
- The
program meets four hours a day; two, three or five days a week.
- Our goal is to enhance your child's social, emotional
and educational needs.
- CLASS OPTIONS: 5 Days (Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) 5
Days (Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) 3 Days (Any 3 days SPACE IS LIMITED 10:00
AM - 2:00 PM) 2 Days (Any 2 days SPACE IS LIMITED 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) --
A 4 day week at 4, 5 or 6 hours can also be arranged.
- SOME TOPICS COVERED: Alphabet, numbers, colors,
shapes, days of the week, months of the year, name recognition, writing, weather, animals, etc.
- GYM CLASSES:
Weather permitting, the children will be able to enjoy some outdoor activities in the fenced in area behind Albright United
Methodist Church. During winter months children have access to indoor play areas. Play clothes and sneakers are
recommended.
- FIELD TRIPS: Field trips will be planned on a month to month basis and will be announced in advance in
monthly newsletters. Parents are asked to transport their child if possible.
- LUNCHES: Lunches are provided by
parents. All lunches need to be precooked at home and can be reheated at school. A refrigerator and microwave
are available.
- ATTENDANCE POLICY: Enrollment in our program is on a nine month basis, September through May.
In the event of an illness, please notify us of your child's absence. Holidays and vacation days are announced prior
to the school year.
- SNOW DAYS: In the event of inclement weather, please watch channels WBRE and WYOU for school cancellations,
delays and early dismissals. Parents will need to make the necessary arrangements should early dismissals arise.
- MEDICAL
CARE POLICY: Sick children should be kept home from school for their protection and the protection of other children and staff.
We cannot give medication unless it is brought in the original container and the school medication log is completed.
In the event of an accident, we will administer first aid to your child. If your child has any special medical
problems, please call them to our attention.
- PARENT CONFERENCE: A conference date will be set and you will be invited
to come in to discuss your child's progress. Please feel free to discuss your concerns at any time.
- SUPPLIES
NEEDED: Please label all of your child's belongings! Backpack, lunchbox, shoebox with change of
clothes (shirt, pants, socks, underwear), art smock.
- Before and Aftercare is available.

- Children must be 4 years 7 months by the first day of school, which is the day after Labor Day.
- The
class size is kept small.
- Children attain the necessary skills in math and reading, in a fun and educational environment.
- The reading program includes phonics instruction and group reading and writing skill development.
- The math
program consists of numeral formation, money, telling time, simple addition and subtraction.
- Our goal is to enhance

need to be potty trained.
- The program meets two days a week, two hours a day.
- The philosophy of our program
is to promote socialization, listening skills and sharing skills.
- CLASS SCHEDULE: Tuesday & Thursday 10:00
AM - 12:00 PM (Afternoon hours are dependent upon enrollment)
- Happy Hours is not an all day program.
A few hours of before and after care are available if needed.
- SNACK: Please pack a healthy snack and drink
for your child.

- WHAT
IS NEEDED: Diapers and wipes are needed if your child is not potty trained. Pull ups may also be used. A set of
extra clothes in a shoebox is needed for accidents or spills. This will remain in school, so please remember to change
to warmer clothes once the colder weather sets in.
